Picks: Week of 10/11-10/15

Made some units in real football, lost some in English football.

Highlights:
-the Patriots victory - my highest conviction game of the week - was big;
-West Virginia came up huge as they won by three points (I teased Texas to +3.5) staying in the Big 12 and BCS title hunt, nicely done Mountaineers

Lowlights:
-right before kickoff on Sunday, the Bengals dropped to -3. I wasn't even thinking of making a play on this game but thought that price was impossible to pass up
-Northwestern pulling a typical Northwestern move and choking away a game in the fourth quarter
